Ideal home

What is the concept of an ideal home to many people?

To us, an ideal home is very simple mahanttan living style definately modern mahattan.

When u step into the flat, it has got to be square-ish in shape, with no odd shape. so that placing of furnitures and designing would be easier.

Imagine this.....

Full length drop down window in the living room. White walls. White floor tiles - homogenous

The living room will be divided to 3 parts.

Part One:
--> Once step in, there is a small bar counter that welcomes u.....( as both of us loved to collect wines/hard liquors ).
--> Build in shoe rack. ( well organise )
--> A small fountain with small stone pebbles beside the door.

Part Two:
--> A dining area ( cozy, with a long table of 6 chairs ).

Part Three:
--> Spacious space to display a big set of Italian sofa with a 52 inch LCD TV in front mount on the wall.
--> A Wii gaming corner for both of us.
--> A respectable sound system ( perhaps a S750 or G500 creative speaker would be good enuff ).
--> A sofa bench placed near the drop down window so i can read and watch the scenary during rainy days.

After the living room, most people will wanna go into the bedrooms for a look.....

Master bedroom:
--> A platform bed ( maybe a raise platform with steps so we can placed our remote controllers and magazines on it, A really bad habit of us - untidy )
--> A small walk-in wardrobe with a full length mirror
--> A big blow up picture of us in black and white ( classic feel )

Study room:
--> This is a must for us. As this is a personal space for us whenever we re stressed up. Not neccessary a working environment, but mainly a place for relax with books, Cds etc.

Guest room:
--> This is a room for future big dog and a kitten. Happy family together.


After bedrooms, would be the most impt placed for us - as both of us love food so much.

Kitchen:
--> Build in cabinets with together with stove, and build in oven.
--> A big sink split into 2 parts with a huge springy tap. ( Like those in restraunts )
--> A huge fridge pack with food!!!
--> A counter to prepare food, like cakes, pastry ( whereby big space is needed )
--> A washing machine corner with laundry basket and the ugly colourful bamboo rods. ( i would just get 1 colour, too colourful makes it so complicated ).


okie..when would i have my dreams come true? Damm!
