Ideal home
What is the concept of an ideal home to many people?
To us, an ideal home is very simple mahanttan living style definately modern mahattan.
When u step into the flat, it has got to be square-ish in shape, with no odd shape. so that placing of furnitures and designing would be easier.
Imagine this.....
Full length drop down window in the living room. White walls. White floor tiles - homogenous
The living room will be divided to 3 parts.
Part One:
--> Once step in, there is a small bar counter that welcomes u.....( as both of us loved to collect wines/hard liquors ).
--> Build in shoe rack. ( well organise )
--> A small fountain with small stone pebbles beside the door.
Part Two:
--> A dining area ( cozy, with a long table of 6 chairs ).
Part Three:
--> Spacious space to display a big set of Italian sofa with a 52 inch LCD TV in front mount on the wall.
--> A Wii gaming corner for both of us.
--> A respectable sound system ( perhaps a S750 or G500 creative speaker would be good enuff ).
--> A sofa bench placed near the drop down window so i can read and watch the scenary during rainy days.
After the living room, most people will wanna go into the bedrooms for a look.....
Master bedroom:
--> A platform bed ( maybe a raise platform with steps so we can placed our remote controllers and magazines on it, A really bad habit of us - untidy )
--> A small walk-in wardrobe with a full length mirror
--> A big blow up picture of us in black and white ( classic feel )
Study room:
--> This is a must for us. As this is a personal space for us whenever we re stressed up. Not neccessary a working environment, but mainly a place for relax with books, Cds etc.
Guest room:
--> This is a room for future big dog and a kitten. Happy family together.
After bedrooms, would be the most impt placed for us - as both of us love food so much.
Kitchen:
--> Build in cabinets with together with stove, and build in oven.
--> A big sink split into 2 parts with a huge springy tap. ( Like those in restraunts )
--> A huge fridge pack with food!!!
--> A counter to prepare food, like cakes, pastry ( whereby big space is needed )
--> A washing machine corner with laundry basket and the ugly colourful bamboo rods. ( i would just get 1 colour, too colourful makes it so complicated ).
okie..when would i have my dreams come true? Damm!

History of Monopoly
It was 1934, at the height of the Depression, when Charles B. Darrow of Germantown, from Pennsylvania, showed what he called the MONOPOLY game to the executives at Parker Brothers.
Parker Brothers rejected the game due to "52 design errors! But Mr. Darrow wasn't daunted. Like many other Americans, he was unemployed ( guess people unemployed will had all sort of funny ideas, maybe due to craving for the smell of money ) at the time, and the game's exciting promise of fame and fortune inspired him to produce it on his own.
With help from a friend who was a printer, Mr. Darrow sold 5,000 handmade sets of the game to a Philadelphia department store. People loved it! But as demand grew, he couldn't keep up with all the orders and came back to talk to Parker Brothers again. The rest, as they say, is history!
In its first year, 1935, the MONOPOLY game was the best-selling game in America. And over its 65-year history, an estimated 500 million people have played! ( I am one of them )

溏心风暴之家好月圆
Recently just finished this drama...seriously was very impressed with 林峰 's acting...He has a great voice - very manly and his acting improves alot...from last time boyish to now manly...!!
Was so attracted to man like that ( the character in the drama )...it would be perfect if a real man like that exist...Family oriented + Handsome + Singing so power + gentleman :)
Guess...i better pray that i dream of him tonight..faster...hahahaha....

Love Nest disrupted part 2
Another cruel blow to us on 8th Oct 2008! Actually this is the 3rd BLOW!
Failed again in the Senja Green HDB flats!!!! WHY WHY WHY?????? As u all can see, the available flats are only 284 and the number we got for the quene is 1199!!!!!! we re not buying 4D lo....they can give us 4 digits!!!!! WTH.....
Is this FAIR? haiz.... UNFAIR lo....i gonna go call HDB tomorrow to show my unhappiness!

Totally no mood ok! after knew about my results, i sms-ed Trixy & Agnes. While my hands trembling when i sms-ed Mr Seng. Sian lo...!!!! never pass BTT means cannot applied PDL...cannot apply PDL means cannot practice driving...cannot practice driving means cannot apply for FTT & Driving test dates....cannot pass driving next year means i cannot drive DA HONG!!!!
Booked my 3rd Basic Theory test again today. 21 Nov 2008. I gonna APPLIED leave to take this imperial driving test.

Ah Mei's concert 4th Oct 2008!!!!!
This was indeed an AWESOME concert i had ever seen in my lifetime. The 1st ever concert that i attended that was so HIGH so HIGH and HIGH till Ah Mei sang for 3 hrs non-stop.
She indeed had a POWERFUL VOICE! As she can sing more than 3 HRS!!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!! OH MY GOD. IMPRESSED!
SO MANY PEOPLE!
We are late, suppose to reach at 8pm, but we reach at 8:05pm :( But they are still so many empty seats...so we are not that bad :) haha....
Agnes called me, cos she also went to this concert!!!! hahaha....but she sat very far from me...I was on the SOUTH, she was on the EAST entrance !!! hahaha....
FULL HOUSE!! no empty seats at all!!
Took some pictures before start of concert! The people behind us so boring..no fun at all... i think only both of us went CRAZY and out of CONTROL! cos we were dancing towards later part of the concert !!! MUHAHAHAHA....

We did something stupid after the concert...OKOK...is suggested by me...! I wanna catch the last glimpse of Ah Mei. Hence i suggect to camp at the back door entrance of the indoor stadium. We waited and waited for 40 mins for her to come out. And below are the close encounter i had with her!!!!!
Long time never do these kind of thing le, the last time i chase an idol was in Sec 3 ( daniel Chan era ). Feel so young all of a sudden :)
SO FRIENDLY
SHE WAVED TO ME LO.....wah lao...like strike 4D lei....so HAPPY!!!!!! She so friendly lo....she smile when i took pic of her in the car!
SO tired after the concert...reach home at 2:30AM after supper at 888...Zzzzzz
Traumatized by our bridal studio
Wasn't prepare to quarrel with the sales personnel on Sat but we are being force into it!
Summary of the situation with the Bridal Studio:
We signed the bridal package on 1st Apr 2007. The total package cost is $2500 and it was definately a good BARGAIN! As I have TWO made to measure gowns blah blah blah. SO we paid a $1501 deposit on the spot.
One year 6 months later.....
Headlines on NEWPAPER:
XXXXX wedding studio closed down due to the XXX photography ( owner of the shop ) bluff his customers that he is a professional photographer and hence being found out by the various authorities.
The XXXXX bridal studio was being brought over by a new owner ( friend of the XXX photographer ).
So we are panick, hence called the bridal studio, and the sales staff mention, we are still cover in the contract by the new owner.
AND NO NEED PAY A SINGLE CENT MORE
End of phone call communications on August 2008

Reasons to start the fiery quarrel on 4th Oct 2008:
1) Started to tell us that the economy is bad, they cannot cover costs and decided to raise the total bill to $3.5K for whole bridal package. An Extra $1000 to pay them.
2) Hence needed to fork out $1999 more for the remaining balance.
3) When we told her, we will not pay the EXTRA $1000 as previously it was not communicated to us that way, as changing of the ownership of the shop doesn't mean customers have to pay more. And they promised ( 2 months before) that they will still fulfil our contracts w/o any cents extra charge.
4) The sales personnel starts to be STUPID in front of us. She want us to PUNCH a number on the calculator a amount we can pay to them if we are not able to pay $1000. *** Isn't this STUPID??? she trying to BLUFF us right!!!! dam STUPID! she tot we re KIDS ***
5) We argue and argue, she got all sorts of stunts....
She won't wanna give in and we also didn't either. I think the heaven is on our side, some walk in customers started to come in. Hence we decided to be ATTITUDE to the sales woman.
We talk more and more loud, and eventually we wanna make a scene there. **EVIL GRINS**
Hence, they buay tahan us, and started to feel threaten by us. She decided to fuifil all the items on our contract.
STUPID right!!!! wanna con lao niang's money but FAILED. But believe she would wanna CON us AGAIN when i sent the designs i like for my TWO gowns. But i will bring more reinforcement with me to fight the war :) Hahaha...not to worry :)
We are both mentally tired after the war...but we are looking forward for the concert later :)

Coffee & Tea Dreamworks
Had a fruitful Saturday....
1) We went to Coffee & Tea Dreamworks located at waterloo centre ( beside Bank of China )to select the package for our wedding on 15th Nov 2009!!!!
Cozy, chic environment
We were being shown on the various work done by their TWO in-house photographers and TWO videographers. They had a lot impressive work & Dearie was amazed by this company - Coffee & Tea Dreamworks.
From basic photo montage --> Cartoon Animation --> Photography --> Videography , they are one of the pioneers i can say :)

Of cos for the quality & service they provide, the price is also steep as compare to their counterparts in that line. But we are so IMPRESSED!!!
BROKE!!!!!
We re broke as we paid a whopping 50% downpayment for it!!! Oh gosh!!!! no more GUCCI for me le :(
